Graceful Aging
The participants will leave with a practical knowledge on dietary and exercise recommendations supported by scientific research as related to ageing and will practice basic exercises under guidance and supervision.

Description
This course combines education, movement and individual and group coaching when participants will have an opportunity to design their own plan for healthy ageing. The educational component will focus on such topics as: physical, physiological, and mental changes as related to ageing and how to face those changes, nutrition, and the effect of various exercises on those processes. The movement section of the class will change every time and will introduce the participants to the basics of cardio, mobility and flexibility exercises, core and balance, as well as strength training.

Lesson 1: What does aging mean for my mind and body and how to address those changes.

Lesson 2: Types of exercises and their effect on the body. Exercising for specific health conditions (arthritis, high blood pressure, osteoporosis, etc.)

Lesson 3: Nutrition including nutrition for specific health considerations (cardiovascular disease, osteoporosis, etc.).
​
Lesson 4: Putting it all together: group coaching on designing a masterplan for healthy and joyful ageing.
